The county of Surrey is located South West of London, and, with
its
population of 1.1 million, is the most densely populated shire
county in the UK. Given its proximity to London and enormous range
of facilities, working towns and beautiful countryside, it¹s
hardly surprising that Surrey is such a popular choice for people
to make their home.
Despite its massive population, only 16%
of the land in Surrey is urbanised, with 70% green belt and 22%
wooded. Indeed, just outside Guildford, you will find the North
Downs, whose beautiful features include the National Trust owned
Devil¹s Punch Bowl and Hindhead Common not far away along
the A3.
